Shaping the Future of Board District 6 is a community engagement series designed to bring neighbors, families, students, and educators into the conversation. Through small-group discussions, workshops, and a community town hall, we’re creating space to hear directly from you, connect you with resources, and build a shared vision to uplift our schools and community. Over the past several months, Board Member Kelly Gonez has been listening — through community conversations, neighborhood canvassing, and the BD6 Vision Survey — to hear directly from students, families, educators, and residents across Board District 6 about what matters most for our public schools. That series is now coming to a close. On Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Kelly will share back what she heard, give you the chance to fill in anything that's missing, and invite you to help shape the community-centered vision and policy platform she will build this summer for her final term.
